If you're like me then you know that the summer time comes with break-outs and dryer skin. What a pain! This summer we are taking charge and making sure we have that glowing skin! The summer time sun can be harsh on our skin causing it to be dryer and excess sweat will cause those unwanted break-outs. Instead of avoiding these problems we are going to be proactive by following these skincare tips for a summer of glowing skin.




Tip #1 - Stay HYDRATED


Yes, it's that simple. Drink your water and lots of it. H2O not only keeps you hydrated but does wonders for the skin; it removes toxins in our bodies that can cause break-outs, remember our bodies are about 60% water. We also do not want to pass out due to the extreme heat.




Tip #2 - Use products based on your skin type


This is important because if you are using the wrong products it could make your skin worse. If you have oily skin look for products that have "oily skin" on the label; and the same for dry, combo or normal skin. Tip #3 - Stay consistent with a routine


Consistency and routine are key when it comes to glowing skin. Be sure to follow a routine of cleansing, toning and moisturizing your skin every morning and night. The more consistent you are the faster you will see results.


Tip #4 - Book your monthly facials


Seeing your esthetician on a monthly basis is vital. Not only are esthetician's experts when it comes to skin but they want to help you, they love to help you! They will provide you with any advice, advanced skin services such as Microdermabrasion, and will continue to motivate you on your glowing skin journey.


Tip #5 - Patience is key


It's okay if you are not seeing the results you want right away; remember it is a marathon. Healthy, glowing skin does not happen over night. It takes dedication, consistency and routine to see those real results. So do not get discouraged and stay motivated!
